Valley Mission Receives First Donation from Endowment Fund

On September 9, 2010, Mr. Leo Thralls, presented a check to Valley Mission for $1,750. Through an endowment he established with Community Foundation of Central Blue Ridge, Mr. Thralls plans to present a similar amount to the Mission over the next five years. The donation will support the work of the Mission to provide shelter, food, clothing and care to those in our area in need.

Since the Valley Mission is designated and recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, your gifts to the Mission may be tax-deductible as charitable giving. Please see IRS procedures. The Mission will provide gift-receipt letters as appropriate to acknowledge your donations.
