A typical room for a woman resident who may have one or two children with her. Two such rooms share a bathroom with tub/shower, toilet and vanity sink. This is the family television/childrens' playroom for families, located on the hallway with the women and family rooms.
New carpet was added in 2010.

The laundry room is available to all shelter residents at no cost and is located on the same floor as the bedrooms. A family room equipped with two single beds and a bunk bed, a dresser and an in-room vanity sink.

During 2010, all the beds in the men's sleeping space were replaced by sturdy, all-wood, single-bed bunks. Below the lower bed of each bunk is a trundle of two drawers, providing private storage space for each man using the bunk above.

Nursery rhyme characters play in this mural on the wall of the television/play room. The painting was brightened in 2010 by a Mission volunteer. This mural of the Blue Ridge Mountains adorns the wall of the activity area of the men's residential space.
