The Valley Mission: Celebrating our 41st year of service in 2012 !!

Serving our community every day of the year, providing:

  • Temporary shelter for the homeless, with 123 beds,
    Read an editorial praising the Mission
    published January 17th by the publisher
    and columnists of our local Staunton
    Virginia newspaper The News Leader.
     
    serving men, women, and families.
  • Laundry facilities, hygiene items, infant needs, school supplies.
  • Case management and referral services.
  • Free meals to our residents and neighbors.
  • Limited utility and prescription assistance.
  • Vouchers to our thrift stores for free clothing and household goods.
  • Food boxes for needy families in the neighborhood.
  • Pastoral counseling for shelter residents.
  • Chapel services twice weekly, open to all.

Valley Mission is a non-profit organization offering shelter, support, hope and God's love to the homeless.
Basic needs of shelter, food, clothing and spiritual encouragement are provided to all.
