Please Welcome, Rev. Miles Siler
Valley Mission is pleased to introduce our new Chaplain, Rev. Miles Siler. A student at the Virginia Union Samuel De Witt Proctor School of Theology, Rev. Siler anticipates to graduate in 2016 with a Masters in Divinity. Rev. Siler is currently the Pastor at Smokey Row Baptist Church in Staunton. With his motto as an “energetic Pastor with a heart of worship and a vision of reconciliation and unity within the Church”, the lives of Mission guests and staff will be blessed with his presence and leadership.
Members of the community are always welcome to attend Chapel service at Valley Mission. Chapel Services are offered each Sunday at 1:00pm (note this is a change in schedule) and each Thursday at 6:15pm.
OUR CURRENT RESIDENT NUMBERS ARE:
77 people staying in the shelter this week, including 35 single men, 14 single women, and 28 family members (comprised of 17 children, 8 mothers and 3 fathers).
We need your financial support to provide the homeless safe shelter and to feed our local community who cannot afford to feed themselves.

Valley Mission Thrift Stores in Staunton and Waynesboro need furniture inventory!
If your house is too crowded to host all your family and friends, get rid of your furniture! Donate it to our Thrift Stores and, wham-o, instantly you have much more room.
If you have furniture to donate, our truck can come to your house to collect the items. Please call the Staunton or Waynesboro stores to schedule a pickup within a reasonable distance.
