EVERY PERSON COUNTS

Serving more than 700 unique individuals each year, the Valley Mission strives to promote self-sustainability through the provision of case management, pastoral counseling, financial assistance, and onsite enrichment programs including an afterschool program and onsite mental health counseling.  We help restore the lives of people experiencing homelessness. We are your community homeless shelter, serving our neighbors in need—24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

OUR MISSION

The Shenandoah Valley’s longest operating private homeless shelter, Valley Mission has provided shelter, support, and hope to our local community’s most vulnerable constituents since 1971. Our history is rooted in a love of Christ and a commitment to share that love with others, at a time when they need our love the most.

SHELTER

For our neighbors experiencing homelessness, the necessities that most of us take for granted—food, shelter, safety from the streets, water, hygiene facilities, clothing, and healthcare items—are not readily accessible.
